Palazzo Maestro Corte Maestro Rooms

We spent two days here and had a lovely time. The hosts were charming, and the whole stay was wonderful from start to finish. The palazzo itself is beautiful.

The interior looks amazing, and everything was very clean. We had a great experience. Highly recommend.

We were warmly greeted by Vincenzo, who gave us a brochure he had put together with useful suggestions for beaches, restaurants, and more. The B&B is in a historic residence in central Gallipoli, right near the main street but tucked away from the nightlife noise. The vintage furniture suits the building, and the rooms are well cared for. They also have air conditioning, a TV, and a small fridge. Breakfast lets you choose sweet or savory; we tried pasticciotto and frisella, and both were excellent. There’s a little outdoor space with a drying rack and clotheslines, too.

You sleep really well here, thanks to the clean rooms, comfortable mattresses, quiet, and the breeze. The B&B is right in the heart of Gallipoli, so it’s a good fit if you enjoy walking and don’t have trouble with architectural barriers. The location, cleanliness, furnishings, interior spaces, and friendly welcome were all great. Breakfast was the one drawback for me. You choose what you want when you arrive, and that same choice is served throughout your stay. There isn’t a buffet or much variety. It’s still worth staying here, but that limited breakfast is why I gave four stars instead of five.
