San Gabriele Relais

We stayed five nights at the end of September, in a beautiful modern room with plenty of space. The property was very clean, and the room had a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle. The owners gave us useful suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. Before we left, they surprised us with a lovely little gift. We’d happily return as soon as we get the chance.

The terrace was a real highlight, and breakfast was just right. The room and bathroom were clean and kept up well, with daily cleaning. The owner was considerate and attentive, even though there was nothing to worry about. It’s about five minutes from the center, a few minutes by car from the sea, or at most a 10-15 minute walk. I’m a bit picky, but I’d say don’t hesitate.

A quiet spot away from the bustle, yet only two minutes from the center and the sea. The owner was polite and helpful, the room was very clean, and breakfast was served at a bar and was excellent.

Daniele and Speranza welcomed us so warmly, thank you both! We loved the quiet location, just a short walk from the center. It’s handy for Gallipoli’s beaches and other parts of Salento, and also for seeing Lecce’s Baroque architecture. Lecce is outside Gallipoli itself and is known for its good food and wine. Breakfast at a well-stocked nearby café was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!
