Seven Apartments

The staff member was friendly and eventually refunded us after we explained how unhappy we were. The room itself was in awful shape: a broken floor and toilet, dirty marks everywhere, mold, and hairs in the bathroom. The building felt like a prison, looked old and dated, and gave the impression it hadn’t been used for years. It definitely didn’t match the pictures. Don’t book this hotel.

The room was modern, very spacious, and looked out over a nice pool, though the water was cold. It’s about 2 km from Gallipoli town center, with easy, free street parking, and good value for the money. But our room was next to the breakfast area, so noise started around 7 a.m. Breakfast was very average. Staff would disappear into the back kitchen when guests came in, and when we couldn’t get the coffee machine working, nobody was around to help. Also, no one was there when we arrived, so another couple and we waited outside for 10 minutes as rain began.

The location, clean pool, kind and helpful cleaner, and excellent B&B breakfast all deserve five stars. I’m giving the stay three overall because there were too many things wrong for a suite. There was no Wi-Fi, which in 2025 isn’t acceptable. My child couldn’t watch a cartoon on the TV because there was no internet. The cleanliness wasn’t great either: my child’s feet went black walking around, there were several hairs on the floor, and the curtain was stained. A suite should be better, even if these things can happen. Also, despite it being a modern property with family rooms and our booking showing a child, there wasn’t even a kettle or anything to heat up in the room.

Parking was easy, and the location worked well, halfway between Gallipoli and Baia Verde. The pool was large and very nice, the furnishings modern, and the room spacious. Still, for what we paid I expected more. The apartment didn’t look like the photos and was in the basement of a large building, with a musty smell and just a small closed window. The linens were stained, and I had to ask for fresh towels. There was no shower gel or shampoo. There were no hangers for drying beach towels, though some apartments had outdoor chairs and a table. The bathroom also lacked anywhere to put towels or shampoo. Breakfast was reasonably priced and served in a garage. We chose to rent a garage for €10 per day.
