The location in Galitelli worked brilliantly as a base for exploring nearby areas, and there are plenty of good restaurants around for dinner. We stayed in the gatehouse rather than the main castle, right at the edge of the property and only metres from the parking area. That made early departures and late arrivals easier without disturbing anyone. We did show up very late on our first night, but Francesco gave us clear self-check-in instructions, so it was no problem. The room is small but tidy, with regular cleaning and a useful mini fridge. Street parking is in a quiet spot, and we always found space right outside the accommodation. WiFi was perfectly decent. Great value all around.

We stayed one night, and the view over the little village was fantastic, especially for looking at the stars. This little castle experience is really great. The rooms are small, with nice views and all the facilities you need. It feels a bit like a small clubhouse with only 5 rooms. The host even arranged an early check-in for us. It’s a little farther from the sea, but totally worth it!

The host was really nice, and communication was perfect. We knew the room would be small, and the view and sunset were great. But it was very dirty, from the room to the shower, and there was mold in the ice cube tray. That brought down the whole experience. If you're tall, watch your head at every corner.

The personal hospitality from the staff made us feel like royalty, and the remarkable architecture and decor made every corner a pleasure to explore. Castello Malicas Antico Borgo has historic charm and breathtaking views that create an enchanting, almost time-traveling atmosphere. Some areas could use a little upkeep, but for a memorable stay surrounded by history and beauty, it's a truly special choice.

A really special place, well worth a stay. The host was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and lovely. On a clear night, the sky from the terrace is beautiful. Breakfast was perfect too.
