If you want quiet, a nice pool, and to be far from the next village while still in the middle of Tuscany, this is the place. Everything was very well organized. When I was there in August, the guests were 80% Germans, 10% Poles, and 10% Italians.

The patio dining area periodically smelled of sewage, so we decided not to stay in this apartment. I wouldn’t recommend it to friends. The apartment itself is attractive and the kitchen is very well equipped, but the place felt cramped and gloomy. Ceilings are low, the bedroom lighting is poor, with only lamps on the nightstands and bedside cabinet, and the kitchen is dim. The mattress was too soft. There was no outdoor light by the entrance or on the patio, so eating outside wasn’t possible. A hedge separates the adjacent patio, but we could still hear our neighbors’ quiet conversations and music in the evenings. The village is beautiful but touristy, and it lacks the Tuscan spirit we came for. It’s somewhat off the main road, making it inconvenient for exploring Tuscany, with long, uncomfortable daily drives. A long, bumpy dirt road with potholes leads to the village.

The houses are classically furnished, and we had everything we needed. The views are breathtaking, and the place is surrounded by nature, far from the bustle, so it’s easy to relax. One small drawback is that grocery stores are far away, and you can only get there by car along a long gravel road.
