The weather turned, so we missed our chance to try the amazing pool, but the room was comfortable and the views were still fantastic. A lovely place to stay. Now it’s back to more kilometers on the Via Francigena.

The staff deserve a mention first, everyone was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very laid back. The pool area was just okay, though. The water felt very cold, and parts of the place seemed a bit neglected. The location worked well for visiting lots of lovely spots around Tuscany.

We could easily have stayed longer than a week at Villa Bianca. The owner was so welcoming, and our room was enormous, with loads of space for our things and everything needed to make the holiday comfortable. It was cleaned every day. That bed was fantastic, king size and nicely cushioned. I’ve slept better there than I have in months. The garden and pool were gorgeous and clean, thanks to Wall-e 😊🤖. Having the same breakfast seven days running did get a little boring, though.

A quirky, homely little hotel in a handy spot in the heart of Toscany. We enjoyed our stay, though breakfast and service could use some improvement.

Villa Bianca Gambassi wasn’t what I expected and felt like a rip off. Be careful if you order wine, and check that the bill lists each item. I’d recommend staying somewhere else.
