Casa Canevini Garda

We enjoyed being so close to the local residents, and overall we had a nice stay. The maisonette is large, with a spacious eat-in kitchen furnished with care and all the cooking utensils you need, although some were dirty. Run the washing machine and kettle together and the circuit breaker trips. The apartment stays cool, with a dehumidifier in the kitchen; there are air conditioners upstairs in the living room and bedroom, while the children’s room has none but was still cool. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, with the washing machine downstairs and the shower upstairs. The courtyard wasn’t inviting, smelled of cat, and had a rusty grill that should have been covered. The rubbish bins are there too, and recycling rules are strict. The agency gives you a schedule for when each bin is emptied. On arrival, the place was mostly clean, with fresh towels and made beds, but those come at extra cost. Pets and parking cost extra as well. The parking lot is 300 to 500 metres away, though you can stop on the street to load and unload. The really ugly courtyard, dirty dishes and pots, and added fees keep this at four stars for me.
