Hotel Alessandra

The one snag was the beds: they were two singles, and unlike beds at the other hotels where we stayed, they didn't have a double fitted sheet to keep them together. My partner fell down the gap a couple of times 😂. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay. The hotel was very clean, with friendly staff, and the pool was exceptional, refreshing, and kept immaculate despite all the nearby trees. It's about a 10 mins walk from Garda centre, uphill on the way back, which was a struggle with our luggage in the heat. There are taxis at the bus station. We'd recommend it!

The rooms are clean and modern, the free internet is very good, and you can ask for a kettle. Staff were friendly and really helpful. There's a quiet pool and garden, and it's within a 20 minutes walk of Lake Garda and the Old Town. Continental breakfast is included each morning from 8 to 10.

Alessandra and her team are so personable and accommodating, and we really enjoy coming back. This family-run hotel has a nice pool and a number of renovated rooms. The breakfast buffet is quite varied by Italian standards, with eggs made to order, and there are tables outside too. It's a short walk to the lake, downhill going there and uphill on the way back.

Alessandra works hard to keep the standards high. We've stayed at her hotel every time we've visited Lake Garda and have always had excellent treatment, clean rooms, a great breakfast, and personal attention from her. There have been changes and improvements over the last few years. The quiet gardens and lovely pool are about 650 metres from the centre, so it's peaceful but still easy to get into town. In summer there's all kinds of entertainment there. It's more than you'd expect from a two star hotel, and I'm sure it'll get its third star soon. Well done, Alessandra.
