Bike Hotel La Perla

We’ve just come back from our third Lake Garda holiday at Hotel La Perla. The location is ideal, on the edge of the town centre and just a few minutes from the bus station and lake. The hotel was refurbished a couple of years ago and feels fresh and clean throughout. The pool is a wonderful feature, possibly the best I’ve come across in all my travels. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style as part of the half-board arrangement, with lots of choice and top-notch quality. Wine, soft drinks and water are included too, a nice bonus. The service from reception, dining room, bar and cleaning staff is excellent. Every staff member takes time to greet you and wish you a good day, and they seem to love working here. Paulo, one of the dining room waiters, deserves a special mention for being so polite, cheerful and ready to do anything for us. I give the hotel five stars and fully recommend it.

I arrived at this place two days ago, and things had been quite good up to then, from the rooms to the hotel’s location. The best part, though, was the service at breakfast and dinner. My favorite was Paolo, a waiter who quickly noticed whenever I needed something or help. He was a very kind person.

The room was clean and had modern equipment, plus a balcony. Even though it’s only about five minutes from the bus station, the hotel was really quiet. The staff were friendly too.

The location worked really well for us: the bus station is two minutes away, and it’s about a ten-minute walk to the lake or ferry terminal. We ate well, and Paolo gave us fantastic service every evening. The hotel was very clean, and our smaller room was cleaned daily. We also had a separate set of towels in a pool bag for using at the pool. The beds, though, were uncomfortable.
