Residence Olivo, Garda

We liked being up the gentle hill, away from the town center’s hustle and bustle. It suited us, and we’d happily return, especially if we had the kids with us. The woman at reception was lovely and took great care of us when we arrived and left. Our room worked well for five adults. The decorating still wasn’t quite finished, though we didn’t notice until day four, and the dining chairs weren’t comfortable. Even so, it made a fantastic base for our holiday.

Vanessa and Alessandro at reception were incredibly helpful. We fell in love with them both. The gardens and pool are beautiful and kept in meticulous condition, and it’s a quick walk to the lakefront. We were thrilled to find RO for our week in Garda. The apartment was spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and offered incredible balcony views. I’d recommend RO if you want a pool and the freedom to cook for yourself.

We found the location handy, with several good restaurants nearby and the town just a 12-15 minute walk away. There was free parking with enough spaces, and the recreation staff were very helpful. The main drawback was the floor: although it looked clean, it felt dirty, which was obvious in white socks. That really should be improved. This was our first stay at Lake Garda and we really liked the apartment. The two bedrooms suited our family with two kids and three adults, and the extra sofa bed could accommodate one or two grandparents. It looked new, had a fully equipped kitchen, and a great view from the balcony. The pool wasn’t heated, but that didn’t stop our kids from swimming and having fun around the sun loungers. Highly recommended.

Our third-floor view was incredible, and the bedroom’s blackout curtains were perfect for light sleepers. The bed was very big for an apartment for two, and the toilets were pristine. The pool was kind of cold; I’m not sure whether its temperature can be controlled. It’s a bit of an uphill walk to the residence, but manageable. The place had everything, though an iron would’ve been nice. Thanks for a great experience.
