Hotel Monte Baldo e Villa Acquarone

We’ve never had a bad meal here, and we’ve eaten a lot. The chefs deserve full credit, the food is some of the best I’ve had in Italy. The Monte Baldo has been our favourite holiday every year, and the standard never slips. The staff are kind and attentive, and make you feel like part of the family. The hotel has been open for 100 years and is spotless. You can see the hard work that goes into keeping it in such good shape. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year! 🇮🇹

The historic architecture is lovely, and the hotel has a romantic spot right beside the lake, with a garden, sunbathing areas and its own small pool. There’s a busy road right outside, though, so if you’re up early you can easily hear and identify the cars, motorcycles and trucks going past. Still a great hotel.

We stayed in villa Acquarone, overlooking the lake, and it was amazing. The view is unobstructed, with no fences or glass in the way. This is one of the few hotels with its own wooden pier and direct lake access. Breakfast is served outside when the weather allows, and the restaurant is great too. The staff are very friendly, and many have worked there for years.

Breakfast by the lake, with that breathtaking view, is my favourite part of the day. My boyfriend, his family and I stay at Hotel Monte Baldo every year, and the personal service is what brings us back. Everyone is attentive while keeping things relaxed and informal. The rooms are spotless and every detail is taken care of. We’re already looking forward to next year!
