We stayed for a week in August 2024, and the apartment suited our family of four, including two children under 10. It was spacious, well equipped, and had a large terrace. Our children loved the rooftop pool. Most of the time it was just us or two or three apartments using it. I can imagine it would feel small if all 9 apartments were there at once, but that never happened during our stay. There's free public parking outside the block. It gets very busy, and people sometimes find creative places to leave their cars, but it worked out, with everyone being careful and considerate around the cars and access. We booked through GardaFewo, who were very, very responsive and helpful. We'd happily go back. Other reviews mentioned noise, but we hardly noticed any, and it was no worse than in any other urban area.

We expected better, and it's a shame because the apartment has real drawbacks for a quiet stay. Without air conditioning it gets incredibly hot, but the main road is close enough that sleeping with the windows open is impossible. The noise is like being at a train station, and nearby loud parties kept us awake. The mattresses are very soft, which won't suit everyone. When the building is fully booked, the rooftop pool is too small. It looks clean at first, unless you look too closely. Anyone seeking peace and quiet should stay somewhere else.

I'm not sure where the one review that stressed us out beforehand came from. We found everything clean and tidy, just as described. Wi-Fi was the one small downside, though EU roaming meant we had good reception.

Small, but clean!
