For 59€ a night, I'm usually not too demanding, but there were several things that bothered me. The bathroom wasn't the one shown in the pictures, and we had to leave the keys behind whenever we went out. The air conditioner couldn't run while we were away, so we'd come back to a burning hot room. The doors were shut after midnight. Parking was the worst part. Someone blocked my way, and I waited about 30 minutes for them to clear it. In the end, it took 16 turns to get out.

The room was the one decent part of my stay last year, though it had a communist feel, which Italy never had. The air conditioning, TV, and electricity all worked. The elevator, however, was old and jammed while going up. I tried it once and didn't use it again. The food was awful. Breakfast bread and rolls were dry, there wasn't much choice at the buffet, and dinner was usually greasy pasta and calamari dumplings with an unpleasant smell. Our travel agency picked the hotel for our sightseeing trip, probably because it was the cheapest option.
