La Locanda Di Perico Paola

There’s a pizzeria and restaurant on the ground floor, which is a handy extra. The rooms are comfortable and have everything we needed: an en-suite bathroom, fridge, microwave, wardrobe, desk, and TV. It’s a quiet place with parking on site and easy to get to. We used it as a base for exploring the many lovely spots nearby, without staying in a tourist area with all its traffic restrictions.

The room was spotless every time we stayed, and there really wasn’t anything to complain about. Our host is a fantastic woman, always attentive, warm, sociable, and ready to help. A truly ideal inn. Huge thanks to her! 🌟

After I’d rearranged my whole itinerary to collect the keys at 2:00 PM, the owner told me to cancel because she “didn’t feel comfortable.” I’d booked for one night while working at a private event nearby and had asked about getting in late at night. She refused because it was too late, which I could understand, so I changed my plans to make things easier for her. Throughout this, I kept my messages clear, polite, and appropriate. I can’t imagine how this place treats someone who isn’t used to dealing with the public. Avoid it.

Booking.com says I can’t leave a review because it’s been too long, even though it was only two days, so I’m posting here. Mrs. Paola was so kind and helpful, and we had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and clean. There’s everything you need for breakfast in the shared kitchen, from snacks to coffee and other hot drinks. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.
