B&B Villa Gavina

Louise and Paolo run a wonderfully quaint b and b. Their service was fantastic, and they know so much about places to see and visit. I'll be back.

Set in a quiet area, this early 20th-century villa made for a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious and had a private bathroom, and the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. It's a great base for visiting Gavi, just a 5-minute walk away, or getting to places like the Serravalle outlet. The value is excellent too. We'll definitely return.

There were five of us, and we all had a great time in the large room. Everything was clean and tidy, the owners welcomed us warmly and were attentive, and breakfast was excellent. The hotel's location is another plus, near the city center and the huge Serravale outlet. Everything was perfect!

The breakfast was a little sparse, but at €5 per person it was a great deal. Everyone we met was very friendly, though we had to communicate in Italian. The room was nice and the location was great, if a bit noisy from the street. One snag was check-in: it was only possible until 8 p.m., and although we'd emailed the day before to say the long drive from Munich might mean we arrived after 9, nobody replied. At 9 p.m. we were stuck outside the locked gate with two French people who were also late. We tried the number posted there several times, but it was always busy. Then, after a few minutes, the gate opened as if by magic, and we were able to check in after all. A lovely stay overall.
