Il Cotogno

The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the location is lovely, surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was very good, with homemade cakes, croissants, and plenty more. The shabby chic rooms were elegant, well maintained, and really pleasant. It was sad to leave the Quince Tree.

We had a fantastic weekend in Gavi, with its mix of ancient and modern history, good food, and local wine in the Piedmont hills. Il Cotogno is a wonderful place to slow down and get away from the rush. The atmosphere is quaint, especially in the attic, and every detail feels carefully considered. The breakfast room is fully equipped, with homemade cakes, a coffee maker, tea, herbal teas, and everything needed for a good breakfast. There's also a quaint built-in kitchen where you can make lunch or dinner. The two owners are very kind and always available if you need anything. We'll certainly return to Il Cotogno.

The owners were kind and welcoming, and the place worked perfectly for a family getaway. The six of us had the whole guest area of the house to ourselves. Rooms were spacious and cozy, and the bathrooms had all the necessary comforts. It's ideally located near a small town and the route to the seaside. Highly recommend it ❤️
