Thanks to the Gretz family for making us feel so welcome! The apartments have an authentic style that gives you a feel for the town’s character, almost like being in a museum. The terrace view is striking, and every detail feels carefully finished. Really beautiful, and well worth a visit!

We could have stayed forever. The apartment blended old-fashioned style with modern design, and the historic town itself was a great place to spend our whole summer holiday. Many thanks to the owners for making that possible. Unbelievable!!!

For a quiet stay, Gavorrano Castle is a good fit. The village sits among the Maremma hills, with the sea at Follonica or Puntala Beach about 20-30 minutes away. There are walking routes nearby, and the area has plenty of Etruscan history, including Lake Accesa. Gavorrano also has an interesting mining museum where you can visit a small section of a pyrite tunnel. For dinner, Bellavista is excellent and a must.
