The beach was a lovely surprise: a 10-minute walk down, but we found ourselves almost alone along 530m of golden sand. The water was warm and shallow, still only chest-high about 50m out. Back at the hotel, the big saltwater pool was spotless and beautifully set on a huge terrace with a sea view. Breakfast on the covered patio, looking toward the Manfria Tower, was just as lovely. We felt like welcome guests staying with close family. The host family were warm, helpful, full of character, and so thoughtful about the little details. Our room was comfortable and cleaned perfectly every day. There’s secure parking behind an automated gate, and Gela is an easy 10-minute drive away. Those were probably the best 10 days of holiday we’ve had. We’d go back when we get the chance, and I think we’ll end up measuring other hotel stays against this one.

We had a really nice six-day stay. The location is wonderful, with a lovely beach and sea nearby. Our room was spacious, with modern furniture and electrical equipment that was cleaned every day. The suites were spotless. Highly recommended.

The owners suggested a couple of places with interesting history and some restaurants, and the hospitality throughout really impressed me. My partner and I loved our stay and would definitely come back. The villa had all we needed for a memorable holiday, including a lovely patio and outdoor area with sunset views, a great pool, other spa facilities, and a tennis court. The staff went above and beyond from arrival to departure, and the villa showed careful attention to detail throughout.

The place itself is beautiful, with a lovely beach, pleasant people, good equipment, and clean, quiet surroundings. But the rooms are poorly soundproofed and the mattresses weren’t comfortable. If you’re driving an electric car, be very careful about charging. It costs €15 per hour, about three times the price of fast charging in the city, and this isn’t written anywhere. If we’d known beforehand, we wouldn’t have booked. They eventually gave us a discount, but that still didn’t feel fair.
