The apartment was clean and tidy and well located for getting around Genoa, but it has no air conditioning or mosquito nets. That left us choosing between a sauna and getting eaten by mosquitoes, which says enough. I also find it absurd to charge €15 for parking a car on the edge of a very narrow road. They told us two days before arrival that it cost extra, then insisted on cash without a receipt. When I arrived in Genoa, I called the lady's cell phone for more than an hour and got no answer. They called back two hours later.

The fridge was moldy, the windows and doors wouldn't close properly, and the beds smelled, with hair and stains on them. The shower had hair and fur too. DISGUSTING!!! We booked through Booking.com, but got no refund for the €120 even though we didn't stay. We ran away and paid for a nearby hotel. Don't book, don't go, avoid it. DISGUSTING. RUN AWAY.

There were six of us, and we weren't charged anything extra. The owners were so kind, the house had everything we needed, and the garden was private and charming.

The woman who handed us the keys was really kind, and the price was very good. The apartment has a garden, a fully equipped kitchen, and one bedroom with two double beds. Boccadasse, the picturesque neighborhood in Genoa, is about a 20-minute walk away.

In summer it seems okay, but I wouldn't recommend staying here in spring or winter. I'm also not sure whether there's any parking.
