B&B Amarantha Gothica Genoa

Really tasty.

I can't say anything about the room itself, but the service was poor. I canceled early and without a fee, yet more than 14 days later my money still hasn't been returned. The hostess hasn't replied to me about it either.

The beds were shabby, which was a letdown. But the building is spectacular inside and out, with the feel of stepping back in time while still having modern comforts. The lady was incredibly kind, and breakfast was wonderful, generous, and made with love. We were here just last night, and we'll definitely return.

Silvia and Franco welcomed me to their B&B so warmly and courteously. Silvia is cheerful, resourceful, and always available when something is needed. My stay felt peaceful and special, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place with attentive, welcoming owners. The rooms are spacious, bright, comfortable, and the B&B feels very welcoming. Breakfast is generous and varied, with something for every taste, served in a carefully arranged dining area with delightful tablecloths and place settings. It's in an elegant, prestigious historic building with an elevator, centrally located and well connected. Sampierdarena station is just 5 minutes away, and nearby bus stops make it quick to reach Genoa's center. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, tobacco shops and other conveniences are close by too.
