Best Western Plus City Hotel

There was no heat. The climate control was noisy and smelled bad, and it didn't warm the room. Instead of repairing it, they shut it off altogether. No one offered me another room where the heating worked.

The only real snag was the lift situation. There are just two tiny elevators for nine floors, and one was out of service while we were there, which meant a very long wait. Parking is valet only and costs 25-30 Euros per night, so it's a good idea to reserve a space ahead of time. Otherwise, we had a great stay. The hotel sits on a quiet side street, close enough to walk to most of the main attractions, with loads of restaurants nearby, from casual places to fine dining.

A cozy, charming hotel with everything you need. The staff made us feel very welcome, the food was great, and the rooms were nice and just the right size. I'd recommend staying here.

We lost an hour just trying to find the place. There are no signs around the area, and the hotel is almost impossible to locate. The elevator is so small that two people with luggage can't fit. It also felt outdated and wildly overpriced. Booking.com showed parking, but there wasn't a nearby space; there's a public garage about a five-minute walk away, which seems sensible if you have luggage in your car. What exactly was worth 400€? Never again.
