The owners welcomed us warmly and very courteously, and pointed out places of particular character as well as spots with historical and cultural interest. The rooms are clean and furnished with taste, reflecting the building's history. The tormented poet Dino Campana stayed briefly in one of them and mentioned the building in a work, Genoa: "- Under the eastern tower, in the Green Terraces or the cinerea slate, the square spreads out to the sea that gathers the inexhaustible ships. The arched Palazzo Rosso laughs with its large portico." The location is excellent, in Genoa's historic center, opposite the Old Port, Renzo Piano's Bigo, the Aquarium, the Naval Museum, and the Biosphere. Via del Campo is nearby too, a melting pot of multi-ethnicity.
