We had a nice apartment with our own kitchenette and a separate bathroom, not a shared one. The staff were friendly, and there’s free parking across the street, beside the train station. Trains connect to Genova, with the trip from Genova Pra to Genova Central taking 20 minutes. Casa dei Nonni has roomy bedrooms and a shared central room with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. Water, soft drinks, and beer are also available to buy. There are several restaurants close by, along with a takeaway pizzeria, a small supermarket, and, of course, a gelateria. It gets quite popular in the evenings.

The owner was kind enough to help us carry our luggage, and each morning at breakfast we got suggestions for things worth seeing. The flat is newly renovated, very clean, and in a good spot, with the train station a minute away. It’s a 25-minute train ride to the city center, and free parking is nearby. Highly recommended!

The people were great, and the place was ultra clean and recently renovated. Free Wi-Fi was extremely fast. There’s no elevator, so you have to walk up four floors, and it wasn’t very quiet.
