Getting checked in was easy, and the apartment is in a great spot. But we were quite disappointed by the room: it faces south and gets hot, there’s no AC, and the highway right outside makes the rooms very noisy. The bathrooms were old and mostly broken. The pictures had given us a completely different impression.

The room itself was clean and nice, and there are plenty of things close by. Still, we wouldn’t recommend staying here. People, possibly residents, gathered by the entrance and stared without greeting us. It felt like we were walking through a family’s private living room and interrupting their evening, and they didn’t seem to welcome guests, especially foreigners. We were also upset by room service that arrived without warning or our request. Nothing was actually cleaned, but our private space was entered and our trash rummaged through. We weren’t told in advance, so we had no chance to put money or valuables away. I don’t know what service was meant to be done, but that was really inappropriate. We followed the house rules, including smoking outside, yet the residents wrongly accused us of breaking them. That made an already uncomfortable stay worse. If you don’t want to feel hated, don’t come here.

Breakfast was laid out nicely each day, with individually wrapped cakes, jams, hot drinks, and juice. There were little treats and gifts during the stay too. The facility was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the rooms had nice air conditioning. You can hear other guests through the somewhat thin walls. Our bathroom was private but down the hall in a room with other private bathrooms; the shower worked well. Good value, and I’d recommend it.

The owner was really friendly and gave clear WhatsApp instructions so we could check in later. The b&b is nicely located, and the room’s air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast had everything we needed.
