Genova46 Suites & Rooms

We liked being in a more residential area, with shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to everything. The staff were kind and really helpful, and our room was clean and spacious. The bed felt a bit too firm for us, and the shower drained very slowly, but the stay was very good overall.

Our host David was wonderful and went out of his way to help, even arranging dinner reservations in other cities after I’d struggled to reach those places. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast selection each morning, and the suite itself was spacious and nicely appointed. The entrance is a little hard to find, but don’t let that put you off. The ground floor has a gorgeous marble hall with statues, and the old caged elevator takes you to the top floor. If you’re into history, it’s enchanting. Gemova46 suites is on the right when you exit. We spent two nights here during a multi-city trip around Northern Italy and would happily stay again. Five stars for the hospitality, accommodation, and experience.

The building work made a horrible racket, though we were out of the room for most of the workday. The room was probably the most beautiful one I’ve stayed in, and the hotel is the best-looking one in general. Breakfast felt like a weird joke, but the coffee was decent. We paid 150 EUR for three people, and a supermarket was just a 200 m walk away for a more reasonable breakfast.

Our room had lots of space and a unique feel, and the host was very helpful with all the information we needed. Breakfast was continental and, while simple, it was filling enough. The coffee was very good too. We had a wonderful time.
