Il Giardino dei Limoni

We got great food recommendations from the friendly staff, who even stayed late when our train was delayed. The garden is gorgeous, with lemon and fig trees and a lovely spot to relax outside. Our room was spacious and super clean, in a peaceful, pleasant area. It was easy to reach by bus 36 from Piazza Principe train station. A lovely place to stay in Genoa, highly recommended.

Parking is hard to find if you’re driving, so it’s worth planning to get around without a car. The city is easy to navigate on foot and without a vehicle. The hospitality was fantastic, and the staff were very pleasant. I’d stay again.

The owners were so nice and helped us discover Genova. We had a wonderful stay, with exceptionally clean rooms and a beautiful terrace overlooking the city.

For the lowest-priced apartment we could find in Genova, the stay turned out much better than expected. The room was nice, the bathroom was clean, the shower a decent size, and having a refrigerator was handy. There’s also an elevator for getting luggage upstairs, plus a nearby bus stop with routes to different tourist sights. We lost some time because there are two apartments with the same name at different addresses. The staff could have made that clearer in their email. Once we got past that confusion, we were happy with the stay and felt it was good value. It’s an affordable option with the basics, just check the address before setting off.
