We loved our stay in La Soffitta del Baian. It’s an attic apartment on the top floor of a traditional home in the historic heart of Boccadasse, close to the beach and restaurants. The renovation keeps the place true to its past while still making it comfortable, and I fell for its charm. From the skylight you can sleep looking up at the sky, and the windows frame the lights of the other village houses. It really puts you in the mood of this seaside village. We gave almost no notice, booking just two hours before we arrived after setting off that morning, but Francesca and Filippo went out of their way to welcome us. They were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time, and I hope we’ll stay with them again next time we’re in Boccadasse.
