Tucked into a big garden full of trees and flowers, this little villa feels like a hideaway above Genoa. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the host was really nice. The road gets very narrow for the last few kilometers, but the host came to collect us in his truck, so it was fine.

The views toward the beach, harbour, marina and airport are amazing, and being so high up means it’s a few degrees cooler than Genova. Andrea was welcoming and offered us drinks. There’s also a fridge and facilities for guests to store their own food and beverages. The place has been in his family for many, many generations, and he’s a keen cyclist and MTB rider who says there are lots of great trails to explore nearby. I’ll be back. Grazie mille Andrea.

The road is narrow, so it’s better to take the hosts’ car shuttle. The people were really friendly, and the room was nice and had air conditioning. Great view, too.

The breakfast was amazing, especially the jam the owner’s mom made from fruit in their garden. Lovely host, tidy rooms, beautiful place and location. Want to know more? Go visit!

The view across Genoa’s port is incredibly beautiful. The owner was very friendly, and the accommodation was clean and a special place to stay. I’d recommend it.
