Le Stanze Di Boccadasse

Our host was lovely and kindly accommodated everything we asked for. We arrived late at night, and he was understanding and welcoming. The rooms are charming and clean, despite the building’s old appearance, which is actually a fine example of Genovese architecture. The beach and old fisherman's quarter are within walking distance. If you’re unfamiliar with Italian culture, looking up the room names might bring a pleasant surprise. A great pick for soaking up the authentic Bocadasse atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

Eugenia and Giuseppe’s place is lovely, and they were lovely too. The host kept in touch and helped us constantly via WhatsApp. The rooms are small, but we didn’t need more space. They have fans and air conditioning, and the rooms are cleaned every day. The bathroom is outside the room, but it’s private, locks, and only you use it, so that’s fine. Bocadasse beach is about a 4-5 minute walk.

The room was big and had everything needed. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby, and it’s a 5-minute walk from the train station. The location is great, close to both the historic center and the sea. Recommended.

We visited on a cold, wet day, so didn’t see the beach at its best. It needs cleaning up, and the small stretch of sand is a shame, though that can’t be helped. Everything was shut in mid-October. I imagine it’s buzzing in summer. We like Genoa.
