A warm welcome, loads of room in the apartment, and a great price. It’s also super close to the port and water park.

Our group was four, two adults and two children, and the apartment worked well for us. It was comfortable and spotless inside a beautiful historic building, Palazzo Lomellini, now Palazzo Lauro. The front desk was very friendly and everything went smoothly with the property. You can walk to Piazza Principe station in about 10 minutes, and the bus stop is across the square from the main entrance, reached through an underpass. The maze of alleyways in the center is about a five-minute walk away. Paid parking is available if you’re driving.

We had booked two rooms by phone, but when we called the day before to check, we were told there was no reservation. We’re a family with small children, and with only 24 hours to go, finding somewhere else at a fair price was difficult. We ended up canceling our aquarium visit. The man who took the booking said he’d made a mistake, then quickly hung up. Be careful when booking here.
