Ostellin Genova Hostel

The hostel itself was fine, and there was a lot I liked. The kitchen could be cleaner. The bathroom floors also need more frequent cleaning, especially around the toilets, where urine gets on the floor. The toilet is right in front of the shower, so the dirt is hard to miss.

I met some lovely people here, and the location is right in the town centre. The staff were all so friendly, and the amenities were spot on, including a nice breakfast. I had a really good stay and would definitely come back.

The beds were creaky and a bit shaky, though the mattresses were comfortable. Matteo was very helpful when I needed to move to a private room. I also liked how well equipped the kitchen was for cooking, and the staff were so lovely. The old building is beautiful, with ceiling murals and tiled floors, and it’s right in the centre, within easy walking distance of places. A great hostel that I’d recommend.

There was a lot to like here, especially the welcoming staff and the privacy curtains. The hostel is very central and the rooms are nice. The front door can be fiddly, and the steps going up felt a bit sketchy, though nothing bad happened to me. It was also very noisy, like there was a bar or hotel next door.
