8/10
We had a small double room with a mini fridge and a TV that worked. It was very clean and warm, but the bed wasn't comfortable and the soundproofing was poor. The hotel makes a convenient base for a weekend in the city: Brignole train station is about a 5-minute walk away, and the waterfront, aquarium, cathedral, and other sights are reachable on foot in 20 minutes. There are plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby.

The lift is on the small side, which may explain the lower ratings, but it fit my sister, me, and our two large suitcases. We loved the location, close to the main shopping strip, market, and main train station. This family-run place is cared for with real attention, and the team are so kind. Our room was spotless every day. A strong 5 out of 5 from us.

We'd happily stay here again. The family who run the hotel, including the owner, are genuinely kind and helpful, and you can see how much care goes into keeping the simple rooms SUPER CLEAN. It feels safe and is right in the center, yet quiet. Cafes, restaurants, shops, the market, and brignole train station are all around the hotel. Simple, clean, and in a perfect spot in Genova.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast had a bit more choice than the usual Italian spread, though it was still simple. Rooms were basic but clean, and the hotel's close to the train station in a nice location.

The hotel is neat and clean, and the location is very good. The owner and his son, who looks after the place, were both very kind and helpful.
