T-Loft

We left because we didn't feel safe, and the whole stay felt stressful and overwhelming. The area was extremely busy and chaotic, and it seemed hard to relax or enjoy being there. When we raised our concerns and asked for help, the owner or manager was rude and completely unhelpful. We felt there was no hospitality or professionalism. I wouldn't recommend this property given how unpleasant the experience was.

I booked and paid for a reservation that evening, then got a message within an hour saying the property wasn't available because they had forgotten to remove it from Booking.com. They told me to contact Booking.com to request a free cancellation, even though my booking was non-refundable. Their mistake left me scrambling for somewhere else to stay, paying again, and waiting several business days for the refund. I asked them to handle the cancellation because of all that inconvenience, but they refused and made me deal with Booking.com for their own failure. These unprofessional amateurs may cancel at any moment and expect you to do their work to get the refund you're entitled to.

Genoa is a fantastic city, and the apartment was great. The washing machine and dryer advertised by T-loft are handy when you're travelling, but using them costs an extra 10 Euros per load. When we arrived, somebody else's laundry was left in both machines, which was really off-putting.
