The place itself is good, but getting there means dealing with steep slopes and endless stairs. If you're elderly or don't want to struggle with that, stay away. The owner was arrogant and unprofessional. At the end of my stay, I couldn't unlock the door to get my belongings. He just turned off his phones, and I waited 1.5 hours before he answered. I had a boat to catch, and my documents and the rest of my belongings were inside. It caused a lot of stress.

I lost €200 of my deposit, and it was a terrible experience. I had booked five nights through Airbnb in a room with a private bathroom. I spoke to the hostess, Edoardo Admirati, who seemed to be in a big hurry. Later, when I called, he spoke very rudely and loudly, then apologized and said he'd mistaken me for someone else. I believed him and went to the address he'd given me. There I found him high on drugs, and he got very upset when I asked what I was moving into the next day. I was afraid for my safety, so I left the apartment and went elsewhere. I really can't recommend it.

The house was welcoming, clean, and equipped with every comfort I could imagine. Our host was excellent too, available at any time of day and ready to help with whatever we needed. Highly recommended.

Eduardo was kind and helpful, which made a difference since I was nervous about traveling alone for the first time. I loved staying there, and everything went well. The apartment has all the amenities, including air conditioning, and it's in a quiet area. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the station, while the city center is quick to get to. The map didn't show it, but you don't have to climb the hill to reach the apartment, you can take bus 321. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Genoa.
