Breakfast was probably the best experience we've ever had. The food was delicious, and eating it in such a lovely setting felt magical. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept great. The house has a calming feel as soon as you arrive, and the garden is gorgeous, with beautiful hill views. We loved staying in the village and enjoying its slower pace, a really authentic way to experience the Sardinian countryside. Giulia gave us lots of helpful information and tips even before we'd booked. We hope to come back one day.

Gergei is a real gem, and Giulia's creation at Mario Cesare is just as special. Giulia and her family put on breakfast each morning, and it made us feel like we were in heaven.

We only wished we could stay longer. There are plenty of things to do nearby, including wine and olive oil tastings and cooking classes. Giulia was a wonderful, attentive host, and breakfast was delicious. The house is lovely, decorated with great care, with stone, wood, and pretty tiles throughout.

Guilia is such a kind person, an amazing host, and a superb cook. The beauty of this place, the town, and this part of Sardinia is hard to put into words. It's a hidden gem, and truly worth the drive from Alghero.
