The family hosting us were so welcoming, and picking up the keys from a postbox was easy. There are two bedrooms with six beds altogether, and the roomy place felt homey and was a great price. We could use the fireplace too, which was just right for drying our soaked motorcycle gear. A lovely quiet stop if you're passing through. One tip if you're arriving by car or bike: skip Google Maps, its route takes you down some seriously steep, narrow roads. Come in by the main road, Frazione S. Lorenzo.

The valley and mountain view from the balcony is breathtaking, and the apartment is even nicer in person than it looks in the photos. Breakfast was provided, the beds were really comfortable, and the wifi was fast. They also supplied wood for the wood-burning stove. I'd definitely stay here again.

I came on my own with my motorcycle, and the house gave me the sense it would suit a family or group holiday even more. For me, the setting was perfect, up on the mountainside in a charming little village with incredible views. If you need a big city and a supermarket, this isn't the place. But for quiet, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, it's just right. I can recommend it, though part of me would rather keep it to myself.

We booked on a whim while heading to Spain, and the quiet was such a lovely surprise. The accommodation was fantastic, with an amazing view, and this beautiful corner of Piedmont reminded us how beautiful the world can be. We'd love to return.
