We preferred staying here to being right in Taormina, which we found crowded and overpriced compared with Giardini Naxos. The apartment was new, clean, and modern, two streets up from the beach and its restaurants. The main bus station is a five-minute walk away, and from there it was a 15-minute ride to Tormina. Parking was a bit challenging because most spaces are for residents. The WiFi was very weak and kept cutting out.

Breakfast was excellent, the location was good, and Carlo deserves special mention for being an exceptionally kind gentleman who helped with the service. The room we were given was too small for four people despite being very expensive. Getting to it meant climbing three steep, narrow, awful flights of stairs, and one of the beds was poor quality. They also charged extra for a filthy, uncomfortable garage. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend it. Very sorry.

We toured all over Italy and never found facilities as good as Ines. The hosts were unbelievable, the kindest and most caring people. Breakfast was something else, with hot and cold dishes, sweet and savoury. The location is great, though parking is difficult, so I’d suggest staying here and getting around on foot or taking tours. We’ll definitely visit again. Truly a delightful experience. Salvatore

We were blown away by the breakfast at Ines. There were sweet and savory treats, and they even catered to our allergy. When we left in the morning, they helped us put together a gift for our family back home using lovely local products. The location in giardini-naxos is amazing, close to local restaurants, the beach, the port where lovely cruises start, and nearby towns like the lovely Taormina. Our room was splendid and well equipped with a mini fridge, and the bathroom was a real treat. Staying here took our Sicilian gateway to the next level. I’d skip expensive, touristy taormina and make Giardini-naxos your base for a laid-back Sicilian vacation.
