Hotel Costa Azzurra

The hotel is ideally placed near both the beach and the town center restaurants. The hosts were wonderful, and we really enjoyed the breakfast there.

The owners were so friendly and helpful! Our room was spacious, with a balcony looking out over the ocean. The mattress had definitely seen better days and needs replacing. Breakfast was good, served from 8-10. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the beach is close. Street noise carries into the room at night, and parking is tricky.

The beachside setting came with an amazing view, and everything in the room worked perfectly. The rooms had a nice size and a vintage feel. Service was kind and sweet. So glad I stayed! 🎀💕💘🍒

This is a small, spotless hotel in a lovely area visited by cruise ships, right across from a sandy beach. The beds are comfortable, and rooms have air conditioning and a fridge. The owners are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is typical Italian, with a good variety and enough to eat. It's not the Ritz, but it offers much more than you'd expect from a two-star place, and it's a clean, comfortable, affordable base for exploring this beautiful part of Sicily. The hotel is near shops, restaurants, and bars, and the local bus stops right outside. For a few euros return, you can get to wonderful places like Taramina. The family lives there and is around all the time, so it feels very safe. They'll also look after your suitcase if your flight is late on departure day. Some nights can be noisy. Rooms at the back are quieter, but if you want a front balcony with beautiful sea views, bring earplugs for weekends, unless you'll be out partying until the early hours yourself. I'd recommend room 316, with a double bed, two singles, and sea and mountain views.
