We stayed in September 2013, and the holiday turned out even better than we expected. The infrastructure is somewhat dated, but everything else was excellent. There was a pool, and our two-storey apartment had air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower, and a TV. It came with a stove and the utensils we needed. Two beds were upstairs, with a double bed on the ground floor. From the balcony we could see Etna. We rented a car and parked there for 10 euros a day. Breakfast at the Hilton Hotel across the street was excellent.

We had an apartment for four in September 2013, and it was magnificent. It really felt like Naxos, with hardly anyone around. The sea was just five minutes away, and one evening we spent until midnight at the pool, swimming, drinking wine, and singing. Nobody else was around. Unforgettable days, with Taormina, that fairytale town, nearby.
