We felt at home thanks to the friendly, well-trained staff, and we’ll definitely return. The hotel is charming, with roomy, comfortable rooms, good soundproofing, and big balconies that feel like little living rooms. From there, it’s easy to stroll along the Giardini Naxos seafront. The location is strategic, but the place stays calm, without the noise and bustle of hotels nearer the nightclubs.

Baia Otello helped make the last days of summer a wonderful holiday for us. The staff were a 10/10: helpful receptionists and a very sweet, friendly waiter. We quickly felt like friends with everyone. Our room had a sea view and was cleaned daily. The hotel has been renovated with pleasant nautical decor, and there’s plenty of storage, a combination safe, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a TV. There weren’t any Russian channels, but I watched a home theater in English. It’s right on the beach, with a 10-minute walk to the main beach and three minutes to the smaller one. Breakfast included sandwiches with cheese and cold cuts, fresh vegetables and fruit, yogurt, cereal, a very soft croissant, and coffee or juice. Dinner was varied, with an example menu shown in a photo. You could choose two dishes plus an appetizer. The chef cooked very well, and the hearty portions came with vegetables. Thank you!

The big rooms have sea views and a fresh renovation, plus a comfortable bathroom with a shower-bidet. There’s no shelf in the bathroom, though. In the room there are two wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a minibar fridge, a new smart TV, a mini safe, and a powerful new multi-function air conditioner. The balcony has two chairs and a small table. Breakfast was good, and dinner was served hot, with two courses such as pasta, mussels, baked vegetables, or veggie burgers.
