I Due Mori Luxury Rooms

The complicated access system didn't work for us and added to the stress. Parking was a nightmare, and even unloading on this very busy road felt stressful. The room faces the street, which was incredibly noisy. The decor may be done up, but it isn't worth the price, and it didn't feel luxurious as the name and description suggest. I wish I'd checked this site before trusting the Booking.com reviews. I wonder how a family with kids would manage. The room photos below show the 'city view' we were promised.

I can only give one star. The rooms are very modern and, as the name says, Luxory, but nothing about them felt luxurious. The balcony is supposedly included, but it's only half a centimeter, and there's nowhere to hang beach towels. The rooms are damp, and all the clothes in the half-open closet were soaked. They face a busy, noisy street, so you can't keep the windows open. Closing them helps only a little. The front door has to be slammed to shut, which wakes everyone, and otherwise it stays open. The TV only has RAI channels. There's nobody to contact directly, everything is handled through WhatsApp. The soaps smelled unpleasant, so I was glad I'd brought my own. I don't recommend it, or the guy in the middle. There's nothing there, and everyone I met was rude, which surprised me because I've usually found people in Sicily friendly.

The rooms look beautiful, but you can hear the busy street around the clock, and sleeping was impossible. I spent the money to stay up all night. You can also hear noise from other guests in the rooms, so it's either cars or trains outside, or noise from inside. There's nothing luxurious about this place. Avoid it.
