Porta del Vento

Our first stay in a B&B hotel turned out to be our best experience. The host was really nice and helpful.

The main thing I'll remember about Porta del vento is how much we felt like part of the family. It gave the whole stay a warmth that was hard to match, and my wife and I were in tears as we drove to the airport. We'll cherish those feelings forever. I've travelled around the world for over 20 years, including to some luxurious places, and this three-room B&B is the best hotel I've stayed at. The rooms were great, breakfast came with fresh local pastries, and the beach was just a minute's walk away. They were also on hand with help whenever we had a question or problem.

The beach was only 200 feet away, and the family welcomed us in a way that made us feel like one of their own. Dario could give you the names and phone numbers you needed if you were looking for something in particular. Alba greeted us each morning at breakfast, and our conversations were both interesting and delightful. Her daughter was busy looking after things and handling the day-to-day operations. The moment I walked in, the place felt like an adventure, and it was incredibly clean. I enjoyed plenty of espressos on the terrace and had a wonderful time. Thank you!

The location is central, with many attractions an easy walk away, and our hosts were incredibly considerate. Their hospitality was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We loved all the little touches, including the homemade jams and cakes and the comfortable beds. This home and its hosts went far beyond what we expected and made our vacation memorable. We will be back. Sincerely, Maria and Gordon, California.
