Hotel San Giovanni

We were pleased with the beds and housekeeping, and there are plenty of places to eat along the foreshore within a 1-15 minute walk. A great laundromat is just two minutes up the road, and there are lovely walks with incredible views. The beach is directly across the street, though you swim at your own risk. The manager kindly reserved a parking spot right outside across the road, and we left the car there for our whole two-night stay. Breakfast was fantastic for me, with lots of sweet things, but there wasn't much filling food for my vegetarian, mostly vegan, wife and daughter. Brown bread would have been a nice option. There was a good choice of coffee, plus lovely juices and water. Our ocean-view room was very noisy from traffic and the neighboring rooms. Once we realized reception controlled the air conditioning, its noise drowned out the traffic. The bathroom was a little cramped, with poor extraction and a tiny shower, but it seemed fair for the price and star rating.

The breakfast was awesome, and everything was very clean, but there was so much noise outside that we got no rest. The bathroom was very small, and the beds had planks sticking out at the sides, making it hard to walk around them. Parking there is horrible too.

We found the rooms clean and big enough, and the people were really kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, with great coffee and plenty to choose from. The hotel is close to the beach, both private and public, and near the center with its restaurants and fun. We can highly recommend it.
