The bus stop is practically right outside, and buses can get you to both historical sights and nightlife. I found that much easier than taking taxis, which are pretty expensive. For someone like me, just wandering around town, the location worked perfectly. It’s not fancy, but for the price I’d say you get a little more than you pay for. There’s a pool open all night, and I got in some time there early one morning before heading out to Giardini Naxos. The woman working there was so helpful. She’s a pretty Sicilian lady, and you’ll know who I mean when you arrive. She speaks a little Spanish and can explain basic things in English, though it’s worth learning a bit of Italian before you come. I checked in late and she still helped me out. I’d like to thank her for that.

We were very disappointed. We paid €112 for two rooms for two couples for 11/12 August 2018, then asked to switch to one quadruple room for the same dates and said we would pay the difference. They charged us a cancellation penalty and still wanted the full amount, without refunding the €112 we had already paid. This feels like a rip-off, and they should be ashamed. It’s money being taken from people.
