Hotel Villa Daphne

There are loads of great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Parking was free on the road outside when we visited, and there was always a space, though I believe during high season the street parking and the car park opposite have to be paid for. Sicily felt quite grotty in places, and the roads and driving were stressful, so it was lovely to come HOME to this hotel. We spent a great week here in April 2026. It's a relatively small hotel, which suited us, and it felt like the staff genuinely wanted guests to enjoy their stay. Our room was spotless every day. We had a great Easter meal on our first night, with local specialties, and breakfast was superb. Neno at the bar and dining room insisted on a high five from our son every morning, which he loved. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially Claudia at reception and Neno. The owner was there every day, smiling, keeping an eye on things, and asking guests if everything was good.

The bus terminal, supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants are all an easy walk from Hotel Daphne, which made getting around very convenient. What made the stay memorable was the care from Fernando, the manager, and Claudia at the front desk. My friend and I were welcomed with warm smiles, and they kept looking out for us, whether we were coming back from long tours or needed help. They were kind, attentive, and professional, and did everything they could to make us comfortable. It never felt like too much to ask. A big thank you to Fernando, Claudia, and the hotel Daphne staff for making our experience so memorable. The hospitality felt heartfelt and exceptional. I can't recommend the place enough, and we'll absolutely be back and recommending it to family and friends.

Villa Daphne is quiet and a lovely place to stay for couples or families who want good food and service. It isn't a party hotel, and it doesn't have all the resort facilities and entertainment of a larger property, but we loved it. The hotel is stylish, spotlessly clean, and has a delightful pool area at its heart. It's a small, family-run place, and the friendly service is exceptional. Claudia at the front desk is a complete star. The hotel works with a wide range of local tour companies and is happy to help arrange tours, shows, or restaurants. Its location is convenient for supermarkets, a pharmacy, bars, cafes, and restaurants. We recommend Euromarket for water and snacks, Kalo for amazing pizza in a relaxed setting, and La Spelonca for a lovely evening meal. The hotel restaurant is excellent for dinner, though you may need to book if it's not included in your package. It also has a good range of lighter options during the day. A beach is a 5-10 minute walk away, with several others not much farther. The nearby archeology park is worth a visit if you like learning about the history of places you go. The bus terminal is just two minutes away, with regular buses to Taormina, Catania including the airport, and nearby towns. The terminal has a ticket office with friendly English-speaking staff. Most tour buses also leave from here, from the stop on the other side of the road.

The convenient location and nice variety at breakfast were great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and sweet with our baby. We had an amazing stay at Villa Daphne and would happily stay again.
