Arucimeli Country House

After the crowds, traffic, and sightseeing around Sicily, our three nights at Arucimeli Resort were a peaceful reset. The countryside setting is beautiful, and the people there are warm and kind. We slept so well in the comfortable bed and lovely bedding, and waking up to those views was such a treat. Thank you, Franca and Jorgelina/Giorgia, for a stay that left us feeling renewed.

Making pasta and getting to meet the family was the highlight for us. Franca and her family made us feel included as if we were part of their own. We stayed in a self-catering apartment with an amazing view over the pool, and it had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful, and our two boys could happily play in the pool and park all day. It’s a relaxed, authentic place surrounded by fascinating history. We had five amazing days at Arucimeli resort, Ragusa, and I can’t recommend it enough.

I wanted a real Sicilian holiday, and this place had exactly the countryside, welcoming hosts, lovely space, and amazing pool I was hoping for. It made relaxing easy. Rent a car, since driving is part of the experience, and book a stay here. You’ll love it, I promise!

The calm around Arucimeli country house makes it a great place to unwind by the pool, though it also works well for a sightseeing weekend. The accommodation was excellent, and the family were so friendly. It would suit couples, families, or a group. Go see for yourself!
