The lamb chops are well worth ordering, succulent doesn’t even cover it. This restaurant sits in Giarre with a view of Mount Etna, and the food came in generous portions. Service was impeccable, and the bill was a big surprise in the best way, so modest for the food and location. Highly recommend a visit.

We tried the mixed starter and two other dishes at Il Ciliegio dell'Etna. It was a bit more than we needed, but we managed! The terrace has a great view, the service was friendly, and everything tasted delicious. I’d gladly come back.

We left full and happy after a delicious meal. The waitress was so sweet and helpful, and her suggestions were wonderful. We had a great pizza, pasta and a feast of grilled meat.

The portions were generous: after sharing Sicilian antipasti for four among six of us, we were already getting full, then we each had a primi piatti and finished with a warm pistachio dessert. The antipasti cost €60, a little expensive, though there was plenty. The arancino was okay, but I’ve had better elsewhere in Sicily. It’s a lovely spot with outdoor seating and nice views, though pricier than other restaurants. Service was a bit slow: we were there for three hours and waited a while just to get menus.
