Motel San Marco

A really lovely place.

There was free parking, which was handy.

We were heading to Puglia and pulled in for a quick dinner. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and high quality, especially the burger, which was the best we've ever had. We'll know where to stop next time we're passing through. Thanks so much, and congratulations!

The bar staff were lovely and friendly, but that alone couldn't make up for the rest of our stay. We had three nightmare nights. The air conditioning wouldn't cool the room below 26 degrees, so we had to sleep with the window wide open. It was on a main road, with cars speeding past all night, and trucks sometimes parked nearby with their engines running. There was no refrigerator in the room, despite what they say. The place was filthy. I had to dust the closet drawer before putting in my T-shirts. The bathroom was larger than average, but there wasn't even a shelf for toiletries, just a towel rail and one hook for a shower towel. It's a double room, but perhaps nobody noticed, and when they changed our towels they left only one small one. The food was average and the pizza was good, though the bottom of the room can get burned. TERRIBLE!!!!
