The noise was impossible to sleep through: the water pump ran like a tractor at all hours, and we could hear every word from the DJ at the nightclub next door. The house was dusty too, with a couple of inches on the furniture, and I had to clean it myself when we arrived. Towels were mostly stained, so I had to sort through them to find some that seemed decently clean. The showerhead barely worked, the bathroom lights flickered, and we were only told on arrival that there was no drinking water. We had looked forward to this holiday for years, hoping to relax, but it turned stressful from the start. I read the Google reviews, though I suspect most or all came from friends, beginning with the agriturismo, of which the man renting that shack is a partner. Don't trust them. This place isn't worth what they're asking. I hope this helps people like us who just want a decent, relaxing holiday. 😒😎

I'm back for a second visit and I'm very happy with the location. It's ideal for the beach, just a stone's throw away, and the view is stunning. The apartment could do with an update, though, since the furnishings are worn from hosting so many guests each year.
