Relais Masseria Petrusella

We were in Lecce for a wedding and ended up finding a real gem. The room was amazing, the amenities were fantastic, and the owners were so hospitable. The place was far better than we could have imagined, and we’ll definitely be back.

After five days at Masseria Petrusella, my husband and I felt like we’d found exactly the calm we needed after city life. Mornings started with a smile, a great breakfast, and recommendations tailored to us. We’d return in the late afternoon and enjoy the jacuzzi pools, sunset views, olive grove, the animals, or happy hour when other guests invited us along. The rooms were new and clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by the daily housekeeping. We also liked the little kitchenette with its mini fridge and the artistic touches made from repurposed things around the room and property. Giuggilanello nearby has no tourists and is a nice off-the-beaten-path spot if that’s what you’re after. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our stay.

We came with four people to celebrate a birthday, and Gian Marco was on hand for us from the beginning. Raffaela put together a special dinner, and she’s amazing in the kitchen, a real highlight of the stay. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the pool was one of the best I’ve used. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the air conditioning worked really well in the heat. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here while travelling around the region.

Gian Marco was a great host, and Raphaela cooked wonderfully. We were four people staying for two nights and had a really nice time. The accommodation was great, especially the saltwater pool, kept at just the right temperature. Highly recommended 👍
